At 12:56 pm on June 3, 2021, “HuaDian ZhongJi 01”, the semi-submersible platform of CIMC Raffles, managed by Huayang Maritime Center successfully completed the first monopile in Jieyang Shenquan wind farm, “Huadian ZhongJi 01” is 100% independent intellectual property platform of CIMC Raffles and equipped with two 1800 tons Huisman crane, making her well qualified for oilfield service, accommodation support, large module lifting and wind power installation. 

“HuaDian ZhongJi 01” was designed and built by CIMC Raffles, and is currently leased by Huadian Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (HHI), on a long-term bareboat lease.In order to guarantee the new energy strategy of the country’s offshore wind power construction, after receiving the notice from HHI for delivering the ship, Huayang had the courage to take on the tight schedule and heavy tasks. Huayang urgently dispatches a capable management team and a full set of skilled Chinese crew members to successfully complete the ship survey and delivery with a professional and rigorous attitude.

Jieyang Shenquan wind farm is located in the southern waters of Shenquan Town, Jieyang. The distance from the center of the site is about 26km from the shore, and the water depth is 33-39m. The construction sea area has deep water, large swells and complex geology, making the construction difficult. After arriving at the Jieyang wind farm, Huayang and HHI conducted several technical communications and formulated construction plans in the face of the fact that there was no revelant experience in China. During the process of operation,

the semi-submersible platform’s dynamic positioning operations, lifting, pile turning, pile feeding and ballasting coordination and other key node operations were safely completed, which won a valuable construction window for HHI, and affirmed by HHI.

The cooperation with HHI is also a blockbuster for Huayang to enter the offshore industry. Huayang will fully carry forward the craftsman spirit of pursuing the perfection, rely on its advantages in the field of shipping services, actively participate in the field of marine engineering, and contribute to the building of a maritime power.
