On the afternoon of January 11, 2023，Huayang Maritime Center Co., Ltd. held the "2022 Huayang Excellent Crew" commending meeting and medal awarding ceremony. The president of China Waterborne Transport Research Institute Fei Weijun, the director of the Institute's office Feng Yue, the director of the Institute's development department Zhou Gan, and the general manager of Huayang Maritime Center Co., Ltd. Li Liqian, attended the meeting. Meanwhile, the general manager of Huayang shipping business department Zhang Fengyu, the general manager of the crew manning business department Capt. Liu Wei, and related principals of the department as well as 8 selected excellent crew representatives attended the meeting. Some of the selected excellent crew participated online through Tencent conference.

     At the meeting, General Manager Li Liqian delivered a speech, expressing his gratitude to all the crew members who have made contributions to the development of Huayang’s shipping industry. Capt. Liu Wei read out the list of selected excellent crew members. The objects of this excellent crew selection activity are Huayang self-owned crew members and social crew members who have served in Huayang for five years and have been at sea for 30 months within five years. According to the principles of seeking truth from facts, bottom-up, fairness and justice, after three rounds of screening, 110 "excellent crew" were finally selected, including 10 first prizes, 30 second prizes and 70 third prizes. The award-winning crew members felt honored and proud to have won this honor. Capt. Li Candong, Capt. Li Haisong, Capt. Zhang Jingtao and Second Officer Hao Zhikui delivered speeches on behalf of the award-winning crew members respectively.

     President of the WTI Fei Weijun made a concluding speech at the end of the meeting. He first expressed his warm congratulations to the selected crew on behalf of the WTI. And he encouraged the crew members to cherish honor and fulfill their responsibilities, show new achievements on the new journey, promote greater progress in the shipping industry, and contribute to the construction of transportation power and marine power!
