In 2003, Huayang actively responded to the Central Committee of the Party’s call of “greening yellow river basin and rebuild the beauty of motherland’s mountain and river”, actions such as afforesting the primitive soil in Xinan, Henan Province, along the riverside were taken to promote new socialist countryside construction by company’s own fund, benefit and enrich the local citizens. 

After a decade of regional ecological reengineering and protection, a total number of 300,000 strains were settled down, and more than a thousand acres of wasted barren mountain patch were covered with plants and vegetation. Meanwhile, a multi-functional park for ecological agriculture, conferences and training, vacation and entertainment has been built upon the site where it used to be deserted.
